Don't expect to hear one of the three adjectives in every description .

In tasks like this you often have to listen for words or phrases that mean the same thing as words in the question.

Before you start think of some synonyms (adjectives with a similar meaning )  to gentil / optimiste/ drôle.

You may also hear antonyms (words that mean the opposite of words used in the questions) used with a negative : il n'est jamais pessimiste.
